Miss Brendol's Memorial

Life and Stories of an Amazing Tripawd Girl

It’s Angelday at Rainbow Bridge

Filed under: Uncategorized — Karma at 2:06 am on Thursday, August 21, 2014

Yeah, it’s not a day I want to mourn.  But it’s hard to “celebrate” it either.  Because one year ago today, I had to let you go.  But that also means that one year ago, your pain and worries were left behind.  So, for you, what a celebration to be freed from such things.  For me… well, my heart will have a little crack in it with your name on  it for the rest of my life.

I sure do miss you little girl.

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” – Dr. Seuss

Pouting to get your way

“The only way to live is to accept each minute as an unrepeatable miracle, which is exactly what it is: a miracle and unrepeatable.” – Storm Jameson

Whenever you come up at top, I give you a kiss

“If we are ever to enjoy life, now is the time, not tomorrow or next year…Today should always be our most wonderful day.” – Thomas Dreier

“Proud” Brendol

“Peace begins with a smile.” – Mother Teresa

“Every day should be passed as if it were to be our last.” – Publilius Syrus

This was a good day

Good-night! good-night! as we so oft have said
Beneath this roof at midnight, in the days
That are no more, and shall no more return.
Thou hast but taken up thy lamp and gone to bed;
I stay a little longer, as one stays
To cover up the embers that still burn.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Beautiful Sweetpea

Life is eternal, and love is immortal,
and death is only a horizon;
and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.

Beautiful tribute to Baby Brendol. I know she is healthy & happy and waiting for you on the bridge. Our girls never met in person but they did the day they went to the bridge to wait for us.

The pink sky I have always been told is someone is thinking of you. So when you posted that on Facebook I knew without a doubt Brendol was thinking of you today. A very happy tribute to your girl Karma.

Well said Karma…. very well said! I saw this after I posted on your FB page. My thoughts have been with you and Michelle all day. You both are so special to me and have always been so helpful, loving and kind, no matter how irrational and how many of the same questions we all ask.

Brendol was beautiful!!! I don’t know the story of the bubbles but I do know whenever I see her banner, I get a BIG smile!

Lots of love and hugs!

My Dear Sweet Karma…This is a LOVELY tribute, just lovely. Thhe little thoughts, sentiments, verses…all so very fitting.

And to see the lovely Brendol again…that perfect bone.structure…that smile…and, her signsture look, smiling with dancing eyes as she pops bubbles!

……”.and the horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight”……..and you saw that lovely twilight sky….yeah, Miss Brendol made her presence known tonight.

You and Brendol, one fun and brave team, that’s for sure! You were both sooo devoted to each other and she knew how adored she was! ” Momma loves her like a rock…”

You and Brendol have been here since Hap o y Hannah and I s t arted our journey…now 18 months ago. You were…and are supportive and provided us with so much inspiration and fun too! We were so privileged to share our journey with Brendol and you.

Gonna scroll back up and look at these great pictures again! I hope someday you’ll feel like posting that MAGNIFICENT GLORIOUS video you had made….it is timesless…just as Brendol is…..timeless and free!

Sending so much love!

That sweet face of Brendol will forever be etched in my mind…….hard enough losing one brave Tripawd on this date, but two is so very difficult. But at least your Brendol, and Michelle’s Sassy traveled over the Bridge together, and will be best buds forever.

This tribute to her was very lovely, and I just loved all the verses and sentiments. I would also, like Lori did, thank you for your support of my journey here with Polly…..everyone here has meant the world to me.

All our beloved Tripawds will remain in our hearts forever……

Karma, these quotes are so beautiful, thank you for being so generous and sharing them on what I know was a very difficult day.

We miss her so much as well. She will always be cherished here.

You both really made an impact in the community, and even now, you both still do. I can’t thank you enough for all you do, for opening your heart and caring and hanging out to be here for newcomers and old timers alike, for sharing B’s story even when it was difficult. You bring hope when people need it most, that is priceless.

Much love & hugs coming your way. xoxo

Beautiful quotes and pix from all parts of Brendol’s life. You can tell throughout how well she was loved and what a happy girl she was! I love love the last one of her, her spirit still shining strong though her body had aged so much.

Thank you so much for sharing your tribute with us Karma!
