Octopus’s Garden – Brendol Update

“We would be so happy you and me
No one there to tell us what to do
I’d like to be under the sea
In an octopus’s garden with you”

So hopefully I am just being paranoid, but I swear my B does not feel good.  She is not her usual happy girl.  She seems weak and/or tired.  And she’s just all in all down in the dumps.

The vet looked her over and didn’t see anything particularly wrong.  He took a urine sample and sent it off to the lab, but said that it’s appearance didn’t look unusual.  In the meantime, he did send us home with some antibiotics just in case. 🙁  Wish my girl felt better.

I think you can see above, she isn’t as happy as usual.

My furry family and I live in Atlanta. I care for a 12 year old pittbull mix (Brendol) who underwent an amputation of her front right leg for bone cancer. I also care for a 10 1/2 year old chow/border collie mix (Aissa) and two sister cats that are 3 (Mathilde and Morrigan).

Almost all dogs, even though they are really doing well, just have a little “less good” day every now and then! Just one of those blips on tne tv screen of life.

Let us know how the bubbles work!

  2. Aww Brendol. You do look a little down in the dumps. Hope you get feeling better.

  3. I am with Michelle…sometimes getting back to “normal” can mean that we are just more tired than others. When my 3 go to my mom’s and play with her two…all they want to do is nap when they come home…don’t worry, she will be back to normal soon!

    Hugs!
